  Summation Tutorial:

Writing Selected Text to the Current Digest

  Overview:

Oftentimes you may want to add text to a digest file without having to create a new note (or any notes at all). This can easily by done within a transcript. Selected text is added to the end of the current digest file.

How to Write Selected Text to the Current Digest

  1. Open the transcript containing the text you want to add to your digest file.

  2. Highlight the text you want to add to your digest file.

  3. Click on on the toolbar. When you hold your pointer over the button, the tool tip says “Write to Digest .” (If this is not the digest file to which you want to write, change current digest by selecting Name File from the Digest Menu, select the desired digest file, then repeat steps 1-3.) The highlighted text has been added to the end of your digest file.
