You can add your own document number stamp, as in a Bates-stamp, to an image. This is especially helpful for those documents that have been stamped after they were scanned. Summation stamps the image with the image tag. The stamp can be removed at any time, and you can choose to hide or display existing stamps while viewing and printing images. You can also
change the point size of the stamp.
How to Stamp an Image:
- While viewing the image, activate the stamp tool by either going to 'Tools' --> 'Stamp Tool' or by clicking
.
- Then simply click the mouse button on the area where you want the stamp to appear.
To Remove the Stamp:
To remove the stamp, click 'Tools' --> "Delete Stamp' while in the Image window.
To Stamp All Pages of a Multi-Page Image:
Activate the Stamp Tool (as mentioned above) and then click 'Tools' --> 'Stamp All Pages'. Click the mouse button in the area that you want the stamp to appear. It will appear in this same location in all pages of that image.
To Remove All Stamps from a Multi-Page Image:
To remove all of the stamps, select 'Tools' --> 'Delete All Stamps'.
How to Show and Hide Stamps:
With the image displayed, go to 'Options' --> 'Show Stamp'. If the check mark is next to this option, then the stamps are displayed. If it is not, they are hidden.
To Change the Point Size of the Stamp:
With the images displayed, select 'View' --> 'Change Stamp Point Size'. A dialog will appear and you may select the desired size using the arrows to the right of the point size.
To Print with Stamps:
To print with the stamp, click on .
A dialog will appear. If you want stamped documents to display stamps when printing select 'Print with Stamp'. If you want all documents to show stamps when printed, select 'Stamp All Document Pages'. If you wish to display no stamps during printing both of these options MUST be unchecked. In this dialog, you can also choose the default location of the stamp for all documents to be printed.
Note:When 'Print with Stamp' is not selected, you cannot change the preference of 'Stamp All Documents'. Even though this may be greyed out, if it has a check in the box next to it, it will still stamp all of your documents during printing. To deselect this option, select 'Print with Stamp' then you will have access to deselect
the All Documents option, then deselect 'Print with Stamp' if you so choose.
