Sorting Transcripts

Overview:

You can sort transcript from the Transcript Selection dialog, which displays all the transcripts in your case in one list box. Sort transcripts in ascending or descending order using the Sort button in the lower right hand corner. The blue arrow to the right of the Sort button indicates either ascending or descending order. Transcripts are sorted alphabetically according to their descriptions.

  1. At the Case Folder - Main Window, choose Transcripts from the View menu. The Transcript Selection dialog displays the descriptions of all transcripts currently loaded into your case. These transcripts appear in the same order as in the Case Folder - Main Window. Any transcripts that were checked at the Case Folder - Main Window are also checked in this dialog listing.

  2. Click Sort to sort your transcripts in ascending or descending order. To change the order from ascending to descending, click on the arrow next to the Sort button.

  3. You can also manually sort your transcripts. Highlight one by clicking on it and move it to the desired position in the list by using the blue up and down arrows where it says "Reposition an Entry" in the upper left hand corner.
