Intelli-Parse Searches

  Overview:

Quick searches are more powerful with “intelli-parsing.” With Intelli-parsing, you can combine database and full text searching by using field names in the Quick Search Box. When searching from the Case Folder – Main Window, Summation adapts the search to each checked case component. This lets you search your entire case for full text information while restricting your document and annotation searches to fielded information. When searching a date field in the document database, Intell-parse will also search for the date value in the Date field of your annotations. You can always view the method Intelli-parse is using to search your case with the Check button, located in the right click context menu at the Quick Search Box. You can take advantage of Intelli-parsing when using the Quick Search Box for regular or fuzzy searches.

Sample Quick Search Using Intelli-Parsing from the Case Folder – Main Window:
Search phrase: John Smith & DocDate=Aug * 83

Transcripts/ocrBase search: John Smith

Annotations search: AnyText contains “John Smith” AND Date = “Aug * 83”

Database search: AnyText contains “John Smith” AND DocDate = “Aug * 83”
