If you are using a third party imaging system (or this sometimes occurs when reading images from a CD-ROM) you may need to reset your timeout before you will be able to view your images. It may also help to reset your timeout if you are getting the error message:
NO RESPONSE FROM DDE CLIENT FOR MESSAGE:
[HOTDOC (FALSE)]
OK or IMG OFF
To do this, you need to change it in the sw.ini file in Summation. It is important that these steps be followed precisely in order to ensure the proper functioning of Summation. If you are not comfortable working with files in this environment, contact someone in your IS department or Summation Technical Support.
The easiest way to access the sw.ini file is to click on 'Help' while in Summation and select 'Environment Information'. Then select the INI files tab. You will see a list of these files, the sw.ini will be in the left column the second from the top. Select it and you will see the box at the bottom of the window will display the file.
Using the scroll bar, find the portion of the file that begins with [image].

Click on the item that says 'image=' and click on the 'Modify Item' button. A new window should appear with 'image' as the Item Name. Click on the Add Item button next to that line. That window will then change to allow you to add to the INI file.
Enter 'Timeout' where it says 'Item Name:'
Enter 50000 where it says 'New Value:' (this may seem like quite a lot, but the increments are milliseconds).

Select 'OK' and then click 'yes'. The new value should appear under [image] and should read 'Timeout=50000'.
Select 'OK' and then restart Summation.
