Color-Coding Case Folders

Overview:

You can change the colors of your document database, annotations, ocrBase, and transcript folders. Group your transcripts by category by assigning a different color for each category. You can then check all transcripts of the same color and search them using the Quick Search. In addition, you can set the default transcript color so that each time you load a new transcript, it will be that color. The colors in the palette can be customized, as well as the names of each color.

How to Set a Folder’s Color

  1. At the Case Folder – Main Window, right-click on the folder whose color you want to set.

  2. A context menu appears (menu options vary depending on what type of folder you clicked on). Select Set this Folder ’s Color or Set Folder Color.

  3. The color palette appears. Click on the desired color.

  4. The folder changes to the new color.

How to Set the Default Transcript Color

  1. At the Case Folder – Main Window, right-click on a transcript folder.

  2. A context menu appears. Select Set Default Transcript Color.

  3. The color palette appears. Click on the desired color.

  4. The transcript color is set. The next time you load a transcript, its color will be that of the default.
