Summation clients who have versions of Windows 95 predating 95b, and who also do not have Internet Explorer 4.0 or later loaded, may run into problems running Realtime and utilizing some of the drag and drop features built into Summation Blaze® for Windows. These problems arise due
to outdated OLE files. The updated versions of existing OLE files are available as a free download from Microsoft. In your internet browser’s address box, type:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows95/downloads/default.asp
and select the OLE update for Service Pack 1. Install the update on your computer following the instructions provided by Microsoft.
If you are not sure which version of Windows 95 you have, you can find out by selecting the "My Computer" icon on your desktop (single click). Click the right mouse button on the selected icon and click "Properties". The Windows version is listed on the first line of the "General" tab.
Note: Installing the OLE update will not change your Windows 95 version. |
